What is Social Bluebook and Why I recommend it!       

    I first started using the neat platform back in 2018 after hearing another Youtuber talk about it in their video.  I thought hey that might help me.  I signed up.  At the time it was a free platform and you could add 1 platform to use at the time.  If you paid for the upgraded version you could add more things.  But, at the time YouTube was my main platform and my main concern.

    I found the site very easy to use and at the time ease of use was something that I was looking for.  I didn’t want something super complicated and the site made it easier to understand my metrics.  I mean, I could have just looked at YouTube and seen viewership, location, and other analytics that talked about how old people are, how long they watch and everything else.  But, Social Bluebook made it easy to know what my values were as far as companies asking me to do reviews.

    At the time I was still newer to this whole Influencer thing.  I had a lot of people on Amazon specifically asking me to review their products and they wanted videos and I had no idea what to charge.  I tried to ask a few influencers but to be honest most people didn’t want to talk to me about it.  Like it was not cool to know or even share that information.  It was like some huge hush hush thing for bigger influencers about how much they made what they did, or how they approached things.  Thankfully sites like this have allowed people like me to better understand these things and I am very grateful for them.

What is Social Bluebook?

Depending on what platform you use most be it Instagram, Facebook, Twitch, YouTube or more this site will help you understand what your “value” is for content.  So if a company or brand reaches out to you for a post or sponsored content you have a better understanding of what you can or should charge for certain types of content.  You can be more specific like a dedicated post versus a shout out or even a link.  Each site has different types of information and breakdowns and this website makes it super easy to understand.

Education

                This site offers different ways to learn how to earn more and understand more.  They have a bunch of courses that you can take.  This will not only help you better understand how your rates work but also how to improve your content and values.  This site has a few different ways to learn, not to mention they have 24/7 support and the community from this site is nice to have where you can also get help from other users.

                You can join their Facebook group for help and or take classes under their courses section.  The Facebook page is easy to join once you are a Social Bluebook member.  You can sign up for your free 2 week trial of social blue book and also sign up for the Facebook group to help you understand the value of the site before you even have to commit to making a payment to upgrade.

Features

                Recently they just added a new feature for Brand Sponsorships.  This is great for people like me or people who are new to this whole world of influencing people and their purchases because it allows you to apply for sponsorships.  They have several different types of programs with excerpts about the company and the products and services they offer.  There is also a way to apply for their programs right on Social Bluebook which makes it easier for me because it is all in one place.  I know there are other programs and websites out there for people to apply for sponsorships and products to review but having it on a platform I already use and know make it a very smart move on their part, in my opinion.
